Jeep Wrangler Muffler Leaking Water at Carol Freda blog

Jeep Wrangler Muffler Leaking Water. I know condensation is normal but does everyone. the reason that water will pour out more in short trips is because the exhaust will be cold thus condensing the water vapor. i drove the vehicle last night, and this morning i noticed that the muffler body was leaking water (approximately half a cup). water does in fact drip from most exhaust especially after a start up as condensation builds up in the system after. i know there’s a few “weep holes” in certain spots in the exhaust, but none seem to be where i’m seeing water dripping. i think it is either water trapped somewhere from recent rain (interior is dry), condensation from the exhaust accumulating and dripping. when i start up the jeep i get a lot of water vapor condensing at the join between the head pipe and the resonator. I'm sure it's not coming from. recently i found a lot of white stuff near the muffler and pipe, and water was dripping down.
