Bmw B58 Knock Sensor Location

The left knock sensor has two sensors connected to one connector. The sensors are located in the valley under the intake manifold underneath of a coolant pipe that runs front to back. Now my new problem is i believe i have a failing/failed knock sensor.

some signs i have are a very rough idle, long crank when starting sometimes, bad exhaust smell and check engine light flashes at high rpm range. i have replaced all injectors and coils from bmw dealer. spark plugs are bosch from autozone though.

For those who don't know, there was a recall on new B46, B48, B58, B58TU, and S58 engines for the Knock Sensor. I'm an absolute fool for trusting my estimated delivery date on a new M340.

To all, please provide a DIY or easy way to replace the knock sensor. Is there a possibility to replace the knock sensor without removing the intake manifold? The knock sensor located under/below the intake manifold. I appreciate all input.
