Please see the following picture for a sample, in fact please see three pictures, of the coolant I use, that's made in San. Don't mix BMW coolant (G-48) with the gold or you will have brown coolant that doesn't look good. Are you sure it was gold and not yellow? If yellow, it could have been Zerex G.
