Sandwich Plate Oil Leak at Hunter Plume blog

Sandwich Plate Oil Leak. My history with oil sandwich plates has never been anything but bad (in my previous car). Retorque the oil pan (sump) to sandwich plate,. Before replacing any gaskets to correct crankcase oil leaks on v12 engines, perform the following: I've had the mishimoto oil cooler on my boosted brz for a few months now and its been lightly leaking oil from the sandwich plate. Is it a common thing for an oil sandwich plate to leak? Eventually i just sold the core and the oil lines to. With the filter full of oil and installed, there is a tiny leak that looks like it starts forming on one of the fittings. The problem i have is the sandwitch plate leaks. Mine apparently is however i know a fair few using the same ones. I have a sandwich oil filter plate that i use for oil temp and pressure sensors. Any advice on tips to get this leak to stop?
