So far i have managed to get a pretty good print by using aligned rectilinear / 100% infill for each layer, and keeping top and bottom to 1. This charts compares the strength with perpendicular load (top/bottom). I see that hoffman recommends 100% aligned rectilinear infill in direction of force. If all you want is a simple all infill printed in the same direction then set top and bottom layers to zero and then choose aligned rectilinear as the infill pattern with 100% density. Is there a hidden setting. Triangle, grid and rectilinear are stronger for vertical forces, but gyroid is stronger for horizontal forces.
