Ford Lug Wrench Doesn't Fit. With the new rota wheels on, i just found out that the factory lug nut wrench that is stored. When i first got my truck i had a flat tire. The two piece lug nuts swell up due to heat or corrosion, then the lug wrench will not fit on them. My lug wrench fit just fine. I would like to replace it with a factory one. Very inconvienent if you have a flat. I changed it in my driveway with a complete tool box on the ready,. Standard lug nut wrench won't fit now. That way it is there when i need it. If you haven't had to change your tire, suggest checking the lug wrench that comes with your truck actually fits the wheel lug nuts. Worst part is that my factory lug wrench doesn't fit! I got 'em off and on (by hand, no air tools) but they are now kinda munged up. The lug wrench is missing out of the truck. Chrome plated lug nuts, while looking great at first, will tend to rust at the point of the hex over time as the chrome plate gets cracked by wrench sockets.
