Jeep 4.0 Valve Cover Bolt Pattern. The early 258 cover has 7 bolts. I plan on using gasket sealer, etc. I got annoyed and thought, screw it, i'll just. The 4.0l cover has 15 bolts. It's a 93 with a 4.0. 4.0l valve cover torque specs. Violence may not be the answer but it sure cuts down on. I'm having a hard time finding valve cover parts (grommets, elbow fittings) that fit my rig. Even if the valve cover bolts line up i wouldn't use it.
