I have an ns exceed and radio and cruise control lights on the steering wheel both illuminate when the lights are on. For a test, the dimmer will dim the green leds on the climate control with the lights on, (you say this is working) fully anti. Presto.all the back lights work fine. If steering wheel light has gone out and steering is working you will need a new motor drive at some point. Just a quick fix for those with same issue and thinking possible clockspring fault. Steering wheel red light does any one have any idea why the air bag red lights keep. The lights behind the stereo controls (left side) on the steering wheel are far dimmer than the right side cruise control buttons.
