Mk7 Gti Cam Position Sensor at Ben Resch blog

Mk7 Gti Cam Position Sensor. About a week or so ago my 15´gti dsg got a check engine light and was diagnosed by the dealer as a camshaft positioning sensor. However, it has no wire connecting to it. Anyone here replaced the camshaft position sensor on their fsi? I have found the camshaft position sensor right about the intake manifold under the engine cover. I replaced this old camshaft position sensor recently when is was getting the p0341 code and lumps on acceleration. I need to replace it on mine but i dont know how hard it would be to. One sensor on the crank shaft and one for each cam shaft. Was just wondering where about's a camshaft position sensor is located on a 2014 mk7 golf gti 2.0l petrol tsi engine?
