On mine i unplugged the high pressure sensor to see if the ecm would force the pressure to stay consistent but it ended up. The high pressure regulator is 3 in the pic. So basically fuel goes into the hpfp through to the fuel rail and injectors, not all is used. This is a fuel pressure regulating valve. Spitting a p0087 at me.
