Strut Tower Bolt Spinning. After installing my new suspension i noticed a squeaking noise coming from the strut tower. Don't just grab the strut with vise grips or any other pliers, you can scratch the surface which can lead to seal failure. There's three bolts which secure the top strut mount to the engine chasis. So, normally one holds the strut shaft with a hex bit (or hex key) while using a 17mm wrench to spin the top nut free. I tried to remove the strut tower bolts, but the bolt head are round and flat and keep spinning when trying to break the nuts free. Then just bolt it back together. Unfortunately, the hex key has stripped the hex hole on. I've removed two of them, but the third one is spinning without loosening. When installing the bolts i was careful to.
