Ls Head Gasket Backwards. I know this is going to sound stupid and may not even apply to an ls engine but is it possible the intake manifold gaskets are on backwards? Kind of hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the heads have been surfaced but not smooth enough. On the outer corners where the head and block meet, you should be able to see a litle tab or piece of head gasket sticking out. I've seen mls gaskets like that leak.
