Home Theater Vaulted Ceiling

I am a little concerned about the room acoustics due to the vaulted ceiling and was wondering what peoples thoughts were with regards to at atmos setup in this type of room? I am planning on putting 4 atmos speakers in the ceiling (Represented by the star on the cross section) What are your thoughts about this? Because your couch is against a wall, the speakers should be raised 65-90deg (you can't go past 90deg because of the back wall) along in imaginary line running up the front wall to the ceiling. It's an 'upside-down' duplex with bedrooms on the first floor and open plan kitchen living in a second floor loft space with a vaulted ceiling which is approx 10m long and 5m wide, with ceiling height ranging from 1m to over 3m. I use a projector on the wall space between the two floorstanders in the pictures of the space, attached. I'm trying to setup my HT system into the living room with a vaulted ceiling.

Dimensions of the room: 13-6 by 15-7. On the far end of the room is a fireplace (which I don't use) so I plan to put my TV in front of it. That same wall extends straight up for 9 feet and that's where the vaulted.

Alternatively another option is to step outside of the Sonos idea and install in-ceiling speakers 'angled' and down-firing for Dolby Atmos, but wired to a HT Receiver, but before doing that I'd recommend talking to a home theater installation expert for options involving vaulted ceilings. The wife prefers in-ceiling speakers, but I know their limitations. Would the Monoprice Ambers or Calibers work with vaulted ceilings? I thought I hit a compromise going with the Jamo 803 home theater set up, but she really doesn't care for the size of those.

Any other budget friendly set ups to consider? Any info on ceiling speakers placed in vaulted ceilings? I want to put in some top front speakers and am curious of the effect of the vaulted ceiling. Thx.

How would vaulted ceilings do for a home theatre? It's a 20x20 room with a 12ft vault. I kinda want to do something similar to the bottom picture. Consider that the ceiling isn't the biggest problem if you ever wanted cinema.

For 2.1 channel music you could do well with some tasteful looking, good sounding floorstanders on either side of the fireplace and a sub (if needed) placed somewhere strategic. Best answer by GuitarSuperstar You can play Dolby Atmos audio, but both the Arc and Era 300s rely on upward firing drivers to play the height channel effects. If you have vaulted ceilings, the upward firing drivers don't have a good ceiling to reflect sound off of.
