There's a small grub screw at the back so from what I've seen online I need to remove this, take the tap off and replace the seals, only problem is I've no idea what make this is. You pull down the lever for water, with hot to the right, cold to the left. it's leaking underneath from where the body meets the control part. No obvious grub screws, How do I get this apart please, could there be something under the handle? are.

Hi everyone, I have a modern basin tap that's started dripping slowly. I've tried to remove the handle to access the cartridge or washer, but I've run into a problem - there's no visible screw, cap, or grub screw that I can find. Here's what I've checked so far: There's a red ring on the.

I'm probably missing something obvious, would welcome any suggestions on how I get access to the washers. We have a matching bathroom suite and the bathroom sink mixer was a breeze to fix. The top of the taps popped off easy enough and the "collars" could be removed to expose a nut to unscrew.

Evening all Looking for some advise on this pretty straightforward question (hopefully!) - this is the bathroom mixer tap, which is dripping slowly - however as it doesn't have any caps on the tap ends, nor any visible screw(s) how do you go about taking the taps off to replace the washers? Or. Hi, I've got a slow drip coming from the joint on my new mixer bath tap between the valves and the angled tails for the deck mounting. Is it possible just to nip up the nut to stop the drip?

Just been trying to fix my father in laws leaky kitchen tap. I managed to get the cross head off the tap - but the cartridge seems to be in embedded in metal/welded in. Has anyone seen/encountered this before and if so do they have any idea how I am supposed to replace the leaking cartridge? It literally feels like its been welded into the tap structure.

I've got a mono basin mixer in my bathroom (pics attached). The cold side no longer shuts off so I had to cut off the supply. I've lived with it too long and now want to fix it.

I'm a novice at plumbing and will be replacing the whole bathroom in a couple of years, so I only need a low. You turn off the tap and drip drip drip - the leak begins. It's annoying, wasteful, and surprisingly common.
