Audi Fan Control Unit Problems. Hi everyone, i have what seems to be a common problem which is my radiator fans won't stop running, slowly, (both of them) even. The fans are constantly running until the battery is dead even when the ignition is off (key removed). I am looking for some thoughts on how to identify if my fans/control module has failed, and what have other members have done. Also check 5a fuse 17 on the fuse panel c (dashboard right side). I noticed that my front radiator fans were not running at all, or were running wide. Could the error codes be due to a faulty sensor or am i still looking at the fan control module as the potential issue? Your fcm is fine if the passenger fan is coming on.
