Touchpad Not Working After Sleep. It seems it happens when the computer goes to sleep and you wake it shortly after. After my lenovo windows 10 laptop wakes up from sleep mode, the touchpad doesn't work. I noticed that for a few seconds, after waking up from sleep, touchpad and keyboard respond for a few seconds then they stop working. The touchpad enable button won't work, the touchpad only functioning after. I do not know if this is a windows issue or a dell issue but very frequently when bringing the computer out of sleep mode. I am able to press a key to exit sleep mode but after waking up the laptop, both my keyboard and touchpad of the laptop no longer. The mouse will freeze using the touchpad. Unfortunately, windows doesn't handle sleeping, hibernating, docking/undocking very well. I checked various solutions but. Sometimes no response at all, sometimes response delay.
