Audi A5 3.0 Tdi Clutch Replacement Cost. At first it was a cylinder leak, upon fixing it, the car isn't. Expected cost (parts/labor) for new flywheel and clutch assembly installed? Has anyone done a clutch or clutch and flywheel replacement on a 3.0 tdi manual? Engine is running perfect, however the clutch is presenting issues. My car is a 2008 model. 2002 a4 3.0 quattro (avant) with 88k miles. Spec has one for $500, but i've also heard bad things about. Does anyone know if audi modified / improved the clutched or dmfs during the production run? Think i might have to get the clutch changed on my a5. Getting all four fluids changed, along with external filter, pan gasket and internal strainer cost me about £420*. It has been making a clicking / tapping noise when the clutch is down. Started hearing dreaded clutch plate scraping sounds last week and then the clutch started sticking a bit. I've heard about some aasco lwfw, but don't know what it costs. Been quoted £600 from a local garage so minus.
