Bathroom Mixer Tap Not Getting Hot

A little while ago I had my conventional boiler upgraded to a combi. Since then I've encountered several problems with my plumbing. One issue is that since the upgrade, my mixer tap in the bathroom has stopped giving hot water.

I pointed this out to the plumbers that upgraded my boiler before. When this happens it is not always an airlock. There are other things just as likely to cause the problem.

My bath hot supply is teed off a 22mm copper pipe and runs at 22mm to a flexi to the bath thermostatic mixer tap. All other taps in the house get hot including bathroom sink so it's definitely an issue with the tap and, possibly, the thermostatic cartridge but learning this term is about where my knowledge stops. I've got a bath mixer tap but the hot water side went to a trickle and has now stopped. Cold water side is fine.

To be honest it didn't get much use because we tended to use the shower more. Sink tap hot water is fine although needs replacing for other reasons. I've got a combi boiler so i've looked online and the air block trick doesn't work apparently.

When you turn either tap water comes out and at the right pressure but the water just isn't heating up when turned to hot.
