Terraria Heart Statue Doesn T Work. Besides the cooldown time of 10 seconds and max limit of hearts, you don't need to rig up the entire statue. I set up a moonlord area with a few heart statues and it has been working fine. A few minutes ago i tried it again and now the 5 statues. Heart statues are supposed to only work if there are less than a number of hearts already in the world, and (i think) less than 3. If i remember correctly, they both used to. Just touching it with a single point works. I placed every different timer next to a different heart statue, connected each timer to the closest statue, and turned on the timer. The statue also will not spawn a heart if there are. There has to be a switch connected to it directly, every time you leave the world it cuts off so you have to cut it back on. Connect the switch on the far side of the timer, on the opposite side of the statue. For some reason on my world, when i wire up my heart and mana statues, only one of them works.
