The space has been designed by architecture practice Jan Kattein and fabricated by Building Bloqs as part of The Mayor of London's Good Growth Fund that allocated £1.1 million to regenerating Angel Edmonton area. Edmonton Living Rooms is the culmination of a series of gatherings and conversations engaging newcomer Canadians in story sharing to honour their presence and experiences in the unfolding story of lands and peoples.
