How to Draw the Minnesota Wild Logo: A Step-by-Step Guide

The Minnesota Wild is a professional ice hockey team based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and their logo is an iconic symbol of the franchise. Drawing the Minnesota Wild logo can be a fun and creative activity, but it requires some skill and attention to detail. In this article, we will provide a step-by-step guide on how to draw the Minnesota Wild logo.

Materials Needed

To draw the Minnesota Wild logo, you will need a few basic materials:

• Pencil
• Eraser
• Pens (black, blue, and red)
• Colored pencils or markers (optional)

Make sure to have a pencil with a sharp tip, as it will be easier to draw precise lines.

Step 1: Draw the Base Shape

The Minnesota Wild logo features a bold, winged symbol. To draw the base shape, start by drawing a hexagon with a flat top and a rounded bottom. The hexagon should be symmetrical, with equal sides and angles.

To draw the hexagon, use a pencil to draw a series of connected straight lines. Start by drawing a line, then draw a second line that is parallel to the first line but offset by a small amount. Continue drawing lines in this pattern until you have completed the hexagon.

Step 2: Add the Wings

The Minnesota Wild logo features a pair of wings that extend from the top of the hexagon. To draw the wings, start by drawing two curved lines that connect to the top of the hexagon. The curves should be smooth and rounded, with a gentle slope.

Make sure the wings are symmetrical and evenly spaced on either side of the hexagon. You can use a pencil to draw a light line as a guide to help you achieve even spacing.

Step 3: Add the Shield

The Minnesota Wild logo features a shield shape that covers the bottom half of the hexagon. To draw the shield, start by drawing a rectangle with a flat top and a rounded bottom. The rectangle should be slightly smaller than the hexagon, with a flat top and a rounded bottom.

Make sure the shield is centered on the hexagon, with equal space between the top and bottom edges of the hexagon and the shield. You can use a pencil to draw a light line as a guide to help you achieve even spacing.

Step 4: Add the Details

The Minnesota Wild logo features a number of details, including the team name and logo elements. To add the details, start by writing the team name "Minnesota Wild" in a bold, cursive font above the shield. Use a black pen to draw the letters, making sure to keep the lines smooth and connected.

Next, add the logo elements, including the stylized letter "M" and the hockey stick. Use a red pen to draw the logo elements, making sure to keep the lines bold and confident.

Step 5: Color the Logo (Optional)

Once you have completed the drawing, you can add color to the logo using colored pencils or markers. The Minnesota Wild logo features a bold, dark blue color scheme, with white accents. Use a blue pencil or marker to color the shield and logo elements, making sure to keep the color bold and vibrant.

Make sure to leave the hexagon and wings unpainted, as they should remain white. You can use a white pencil or marker to add highlights to the logo elements, making sure to keep the lines smooth and connected.

Conclusion

Drawing the Minnesota Wild logo requires attention to detail and a steady hand. By following these steps, you can create a professional-looking logo that captures the spirit of the franchise. Whether you're a hockey fan or an artist, drawing the Minnesota Wild logo is a fun and creative activity that's sure to impress.
