Marine Radio Not Receiving. I have a uniden um525 marine vhf radio (fixed mount) on my boat. The vhf on my recently acquired seamaster 23 yacht doesn’t work. With vhf radio, receiving is relatively easy, meaning the antenna system can still be pretty bad and receive the usual weather stations.
