I Hate Art Students. How do you deal with kids who hate art? I didn't go to art school but i experienced a lot of pressure when i was younger to monetize my art and make a name for myself. There is a false perception that teachers appreciate only the ‘gifted’, high achieving children, but it’s not true. If everyone made art, it would be even harder to be an artist. I want students to appreciate art, and it’s significance today and throughout history, but it doesn’t hurt my feelings if they don’t love my class. But i am saddened and ashamed at art schools and their blatant exploitation of students. I decided to enroll in an art school right after high school solely because i feel like art is the one thing that i managed to get decent at. Tell us your tips in the comments below!
