Airsoft Gun Screeching Sound. I've change the spring in the gun (the spring came in the package with the gun) and it just started making this noise. Motor height is too low. My gun just makes a horrible screeching noise, i have adjusted the screw on the motor plate and removed the shims. Raise your motor height until the gun shoots normal,. I think it may be the bearings in my gearbox on the axles of the gears that is causing the noise. As you can see, it looks like that made the problem worse because now the screeching noise always happens. My reasoning for this is because they are oem.
