Prado 150 Idle Up Not Working. The idle up switch has a pink w/ blue stripe wire on pin #6, while the mirror heater connector has a red wire for pin # 6. I have also attached the connector diagrams and wiring. The funny problem is that the rpm reads 900 when the engine is hot and at a dead stop. I have a toyota prado kdj150 2015. Idle up is not working on the 150 d4. Sounds like it’s working, as it would drop the idle speed if the idle up wasn’t working due to the load of the ac compressor. Mine will not work with the engine hot. There is a switch with the words 'idle up' and three arrows (it is located below the side mirror adjustment switches). Does any one know if this is meant to work in summer. If for some reason the fuel for instance is not leaning out the ecu will detect high exhaust emissions and possibly increase idle. If your battery died or you bought a new battery and your camry, or other toyota is having problems running, and idling try this.
