Home Made Shutter Headboard. We have a queen bed in the guest room which is 60 inches wide; We’ve gotten tons of compliments on it and for the minimal cost and work involved, it couldn’t have been any easier. I was literally drawing out an idea in my head to use either shutters or an old door to create a diy shutter headboard for our room. A few weeks ago i revealed my new mom cave, & today i wanted to show how i made our super easy diy shutter headboard. Each shutter is 15 inches wide so using 4 shutters was the perfect width for a queen bed headboard. A great project for newbie. Here is how we transformed the look of that room for less.
