Elgin Cam Reviews. What are your opinions of elgin cams?? One supplier has a listing of an exact replacment. It looks like a good cam, double the price of the elgin. Not trying to persuade you away from elgin, just don't have easy access to their catalogue, a little less though would probably be good. Does anyone have any experience with them? Im looking at getting an elgin cam that is a real good setup for my engine. Looking to replace the original in my 65/327/350 hp. The initial cost savings isn't going to. Engine builders and users alike have shared numerous positive reviews, highlighting the durability, reliability, and outstanding performance of elgin camshafts. Also considered the clay smith oem cam, bout the same price as the isky. We used a cam very similar to that from speed pro for some of our street builds and oval track engines.
