Bmw Running Lights Not Working. It was definitely after i got the ecu reporgrammed, but not sure how long after. If the switch is moved to the 'side lights' position, the rear lights come on and the day light running lights dim. I'm having a weird daytime running lights (drl) problem with my 2015 320i. I'm really not sure when either one stopped working. I couldn't find anywhere the info on where these lights. Side and daytime driving lights on right failed. Once the headlights come on, the car sends me a warning that there is a malfunction with the daytime running/parking.
