Angle Milling Ls3 Heads at Mark Cox blog

Angle Milling Ls3 Heads. Im curious if anyone on here has done some angle milling on ls heads, and what you may or may not have run into. That's what i needed to mill down to a 60 to 61cc. My ls3 heads were milled.036. My thinking is that during angle milling of cylinder heads, a greater amount of head material is being removed from the outside. Once i pulled the guide pins out of the oem ls3 intake it fit perfect. Despite what everyone has said about them being too big for a 6.0, and not having the potential of a fancy expensive aftermarket cathedral head, i have always thought. I was looking to swap to a ls3/l92 style head from the cathedral style head.
