You can even build a 2x"1,5" bathroom I'm so bad in explaining stuff, so I made I screenshot so you can see what I mean.:) The toilet has to be right to the wall so your Sims can still enter the shower. I think this "furniture arragnement" is the only way this works, but I'm not sure.
