Have a friend who bought a c250 from carmax, he drives a lot so bought the bumper to bumper warranty. After having the car for two years it started having cooling issues. Carmax ended up rebuilding the top end of the motor.

The dealer price is a couple thousand more than carmax. The warranty is included, but only for an extra year. Carmax costs a bit less, but after purchasing the warranty it would be about even.
