Does Toyota Iq Have Cruise Control
Hey everyone, Bought an 2010 iQ manual transmission. Installed an aftermarket cruisecontrol this weekend with zero car tinkering experience. I'll try to put up a post with a desciption and some pictures when i have the time Read some other posts about adaptations by other iQ owners, seriously.
Toyota iQ 2009 - 2015 PRECISION CRUISE is a retrofit electronic cruise control system that provides all the functionality and convenience of Original Equipment systems, along with many enhanced features. Someone on one of the FB Toyota iQ groups installed this Easyguard cruise control unit instead and used the Toyota OEM CC stalk. Goes fer about $300 shipped off of Amazon.
Graff here, have a SCION IQ 2012 from new, has 490000 km on it and still going strong. Trying to hook up a cruse control in it from easy guard.DC hook up type just do not know where to hook up speed sensor. does anyone know?
The 250-9621 is a 100% complete cruise control kit for the 2012. I have the Rostra unit on my Scion iQ (automatic transmission), and it works as well as any other aftermarket cruise unit. It holds speed well, and is inconspicuous in location.

I have to say this is the thing I will miss the most from my Lexus and it's a shame that for the price, and to compliment the existing kit level, Toyota didn't also include cruise control as standard on the iQ2 and iQ3, just to add to its premium placement. I guess this is because of the market it's aimed at, being primarily seen as a town car. I have searched the internet for a few days now looking for a cruise control kit for my IQ I have found that the Americans have one for the Scion IQ however they are all auto this means that there is no clutch depression switch in the kit Does anyone know of a company or part number for the full cruise control kit for a 1.0L manual IQ please?
