Experience Drive Connect Toyota
The "experience drive connect" bullshit is the one thing that makes me want to sell my 2023 Rav 4 Prime. I paid $50,000, and they make me look at an advertisement every day? Ridiculous! I think it might help to call Toyota customer service. Tell them they need to do a software update for vehicles with this issue.

I'm getting steadily more irritated with the "Experience Toyota Drive Connect" nag on multimedia screen and it's half assed attempt to sign me up for Apple or Amazon's music subscription every time I attempt to switch from Android Auto to the radio on the fly. I no longer use Toyota's Connected Services. Uninstalled all of them but each time I start the vehicle up the Experience Drive Connect screen appears.
Drive Connect is just one piece of Toyota's Connected Services lineup. It sits next to Remote Connect (for starting and unlocking the car), Safety Connect (crash response, theft tracking), and Service Connect (maintenance and health checks). How do I get rid of this very annoying advertisement that comes on the screen every time I start the car now that it is a year old.
I use Apple for my navigation and have no use for a paid map subscription. There must be a way to delete this ad. I spent 7 months trying to get rid of the Experience Drive Connect ad before Toyota finally bought back my truck.
It does not help to subscribe. If you subscribe and drive out of an att internet area your screen locks up until you get to an att internet area and you re. You get a free trial subscription for things like drive connect, safety connect and remote connect.
Once the trials are over, you can subscribe but not mandatory. Toyota gives you this app usage for free in your first year of ownership. I found it useful because its features include the ability to lock/unlock doors through the app and to check tire pressure.
But after a year, it costs $15 a month, which is ridiculous. So, I declined to pay the fee.
