Anyone on the forum using their i3 for backup power for the home? I did it with my 2012 I-miev via inverter from the 12v battery with car in ready mode, back feeding our home's main panel.
Can I do this with the i3? BMW's rollout of bidirectional charging will occur in three phases, beginning with V2H, followed by V2G-subject to legal permissions-and finally, V2L, enabling the powering of external devices. Notably, BMW has not discussed Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) charging among Neue Klasse EVs.
