In order to understand why it's called the Dwarf House, let me give you a little backstory on how Chick-fil-A began. In 1946, Truett Cathy, the founder of Chick-fil-A, opened a restaurant in a small converted house. The original restaurant stood until 1967 when a new diner, now called the Dwarf House, was opened right behind the original building.
