Disney Character Treats: During Trick or Treating, guests may encounter special treats inspired by beloved Disney characters. These treats could be cookies, cupcakes, or candy featuring characters like Mickey, Minnie, or villains like Maleficent. This adds a fun and whimsical element to the Halloween festivities.
Iconic Disney villains, amazing dancers, wild visual projections and otherworldly special effects make Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular a not-to-be-missed Halloween treat! Where & When This show takes place at Cinderella Castle Stage-only during Mickey's Not. Most Disney resorts will have some special complimentary Halloween activities for guests on Halloween day that include a costume contest, spooky arts and crafts, special showings of Halloween movies at the resort pool or beach areas and possibly even trick. The Halloween festivities at Walt Disney World kick off on August 19, running into November 4, 2025.
While there are ticketed events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Halloween character dining at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are also plenty of budget. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a hard-ticketed event at Magic Kingdom that allows guests to celebrate the spook season at Walt Disney World. MNSSHP features special entertainment, trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom, lower crowds (although you might not notice this if you hang out on Main Street all night) and shorter waits for most attractions.
