The second generation of the BMW 6 Series consists of the BMW E63 (coupe version) and BMW E64 (convertible version) grand tourers. The E63/E64 generation was produced by BMW from 2003 to 2010 and is often collectively referred to as the E63. The E63 uses a shortened version of the E60 5 Series chassis and subsequently shares many features.
It just feels that to go from say 18-19k for an 07 pre facelift to a 24-25k facelift seems alot of extra money for basically the same car. In two years time, will there still be 6-7k between them? I've owned both a pre.
Yes, big changes were made in September 2007 during the facelift process - so things like headlights, bumpers and a lot of the bodywork changed completely. On most if not all BMW's about half way through the models life cycle they update the exterior styling some, to make it look better or more modern. Pre.
Facelift 4-pot engines are all M40s or M42s and are all injection, pre-facelift are either M10 carb or M10 injection (exception to this are the few 316 M10 carb facelift cars about, but there aren't many). Facelift apparently don't rust as much. Facelift rear arches are different.
Facelift have "smiley" headlights. I like Facelift much more. The tail lights and headlights are great.
I always thought the interior door cards on pre. Do u prefer to pre-facelift to the facelift? All times are GMT. facelift:) pre facelift: (look at the corner lights.
on facelift you will notice they kinda curve up pretty much. on pre facelift you will notice they curve down. just look at pictures.
you will see the diffrences. mine is a facelift for example. as for other little things theres slight changes in grill shape, hood curve things like that.
Post facelift looks like its pulling racist Asian eyes with its fingers. My pre face-lift front turn signal bracket broke so being the oem fan boy I am, I go to bmw to order a new clear unit.
