As 'Need for Speed: Most Wanted' approaches its 20th anniversary, BMW marks the occasion with a real. To celebrate the 30 th anniversary of Need for Speed and the release of Unbound's Vol.9 update, BMW has created a real-life version of Most Wanted's iconic hero car, the 2005 M3 GTR E46. It will be displayed at the BMW Welt exhibition in Munich, Germany, from 27 th November to 6 th January.

Need For Speed celebrates its 30th anniversary - and it has teamed up with BMW to celebrate the iconic M3 GTR from Most Wanted, which will be on show at BMW Welt in Munich. The Need For Speed franchise was arguably at its peak in the mid-2000s. NFS Underground introduced levels of car customization that were unprecedented in the series, and Underground 2 added a free roam map.
2005's Need For. The BMW M3 GTR, famously recognized as the hero car from the video game Need for Speed Most Wanted, is currently showcased at the BMW Welt in Munich. This iconic model, based on the E46 generation of the M3, features a lightweight chassis and was originally equipped with a 4.0.
A special collaboration between BMW and EA to mark the 30th anniversary of the Need for Speed series has seen the marque produce and exhibit a one-off BMW M3 GTR. The E46-generation M3 GTR is one of the rarest models in BMW's history. Its genesis was, as with so many low-volume cars, the race track, with BMW seeking success in GT racing on both sides of the Atlantic.
