Toyota Enter 6 Digit Pin
Same issue with my 2024 Highlander. The Drive Connect subscription ended and I get the 'enter 6-digit pin' pop-up constantly! How do we decline and stop getting the distraction? The User Profile PIN is a 6.
Now I getting this "enter pin" repeatedly as I drive. Bluetooth working fine truck is key linked. I press cancel everything works as should then it just randomly pops up again.
I tried 0 0 0 0 pin on send link but still randomly doing it. Maybe a OTA update will hopefully fix it. My dealer is also looking into it.
When I'm driving, I'm using Apple Carplay and navigation from the phone, never using car's own navigation. But as I'm driving, every now and then the display tells me to enter 6-digit pin. I close it without entering anything and continue.
Can anybody tell what is this PIN for, why is it asking f. You need to enter the 6 digit PIN you put in when you registered the car multimedia system after purchasing it. If you can't remember the PIN, you may need to call Toyota Customer Service to send a refresh signal.
1) Once in the Toyota app, click on the user button in the upper right corner (looks like a human outline) 2) Click on 'Account'. 3) Select 'Security Settings'. 4) Scroll down to 'reset PIN'.
5) Once you reset your PIN, you should be able to enter that PIN into the infotainment system in your Crown and everything should work again. To reset your 6-digit Toyota PIN, access the Toyota app, navigate to your "Account settings" > "Security Settings" and select "Reset PIN" to change your pin within the app; if you've forgotten your PIN, you can also reset it through the Toyota website by logging into your account. Then go turn on truck and enter the pin.
The latest Toyota app update brought this back. I was driving home and my 2023 Toyota Highlander Hybrid constantly kept asking to enter a pin. Wasn't tied to my phone pin either.
I could dismiss it but it would keep popping up. Seemed to happen after the time rolled after 9PM. Has anyone experienced this before?
