Key Tips โ€“ Quick Reference

All Parts
๐Ÿ’กTap each tip to read the advice from the video. Use these to improve your own speaking!
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Part 1: Be natural and fluent โ–ผ
Don't try to use very difficult vocabulary just to impress. Focus on speaking clearly and at a natural pace. The examiner wants to hear you, not a memorised script.

โŒ "Yes." โœ… "I'm quite keen on reading, especially historical fiction, as it's a great way to relax."
๐Ÿ“ Part 1: Extend your answers โ–ผ
Give at least 2โ€“3 sentences for each answer. A simple "yes" or "no" is not enough โ€” explain why you feel that way, or give an example.

Instead of "Yes, I like reading" say: "Yes, I'm quite keen on reading, especially historical fiction, as it's a great way to relax after a long day."
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Part 1: Maintain eye contact and smile โ–ผ
Show confidence and engagement by making eye contact with the examiner. A natural smile helps you appear relaxed and engaged โ€” and can actually help you speak more fluently!
โฑ๏ธ Part 2: Use preparation time wisely โ–ผ
