Lounge seating for college dorm? This upcoming semester I will be living in a traditional two-person dorm without a roommate. To accommodate the extra space I'd like to get some lounge seating in order to make a comfortable space for friends/guests. The idea of having a futon or sofa underneath a lofted bed seems very attractive.
A place for showing off and helping to maximize small living spaces. This is particularly geared towards college student dorm rooms but it is open to everyone living in small rooms! For something cheap, I would look at Ikea as they have a line of college dorm stuff.
Target has some stuff as well. Depending on how much you want to spend, there are apartment furniture stores like Room & Board, Apt2B etc. Depending where you are, when I got my first apartment I went to the rich part of town and found furniture hardly used being sold very cheap.
Also, Amazon has some memory foam mattresses for a very reasonable price. Aside from that you can sometime find spools they keep cabling on empty that can be tables. With things returning to normal in the fall, if you aren't very antisocial, you won't spend alot of time in your dorm room, basically just for sleep, occasionally studying, or sometimes eating something.
If you are just looking to chill on a couch somewhere, your dorm will have plenty of lounges with couches. 49 votes, 116 comments. Looking for help on how to arrange this dorm room for my upcoming spring semester.
Any suggestions or Mockups are appreciated. Trying to find a sofa cover I'm trying to find couch covers for this style of love seat in my daughter's dorm. Any ideas? This is atrocious and has layers of stains.
Shop IKEA's affordable dorm furniture collection and study in style! Our dorm room couches, chairs, futons & more bring together comfort & smart design. My housemates and I needed to save money on furniture, and we found great, inexpensive items. Here are our tips and places to look.
Back on campus? You'll need a mini couch for dorm living, a.k.a. all-night study sessions, and weekend lounges with the roomies. Your suite is about to get a glow-up!
