Saturday 20th September 2025 In Pursuit of Jane Austen - minibus tour to Hampshire 7:45 (returns by 17:00) Meet: Outside the Jane Austen Centre, 40 Gay Street BA1 2NT All-day minibus tour to Hampshire tracing Jane's footsteps and life. First her birthplace Steventon, then Chawton where much of her writing took place. One of the most well-known festivals in Bath, the Jane Austen Festival, is also one of the largest and longest Jane Austen-themed festivals in the world!

Jane Austen 250 16th December 2025 marks the 250th birthday of Jane Austen! Get your bonnets and Regency finery ready for a year filled with Jane Austen-themed parties and events to take part in. The most exciting being the Jane Austen Festival! Not only did Jane Austen base two of her novels in Bath, but she is intrinsically connected to the city. In Celebration of the 250th Anniversary of Jane Austen's birth Bath Abbey presents Austens at the Abbey from 5th April to 27th September.

There will be a programme of exciting events including a new display, guided tours, family activities, a film.
