I agree the S1000RR is the best all around sport bike. One thing to consider is to get a warranty long enough for you to hit 50,000 miles so you don't have to worry about anything-note BMW's warranty is excellent. The bmw 310r looks the easiest and cheapest to buy at like $5000 and can be found so easy brand new I noticed at least in my area so that's good I don't wanna be hunting for a good used bike for good price for to long u know =/ I love cutting thru traffic and just wanted a bike to get to and from work tbh I don't drive often. What makes BMW motorcycles expensive to service is that many parts are 1 time use (bolts and plugs) and the technology on the bikes requires a computer. The reason BMW specs so much short interval service is the motorcycles can go for hundreds of thousands of miles and still ride exactly how they did on day 1.
