James Bond Bmw 740i

Perhaps the most controversial of James Bond film cars, the remote control, rocket. The BMW 750iL is a member of the BMW 7 Series of luxury vehicles produced by the German automaker BMW. Introduced in 1977, the 7 Series is BMW's flagship car and is only available as a sedan or extended-length limousine.

The 750i was BMW's flagship sedan and was featured in the 1997 film Tomorrow Never Dies as the car driven by James Bond. The BMW 750iL is a member of the the E38 generation. All those cars were 740i models (with the long wheelbase, so 740iL technically), but were rebadged '750iL' for the purposes of the film - you can't have James Bond drive some entry or mid.

The cars used in filming were 1997 BMW E38 (third generation) 740iLs but re. A 1997 BMW 750iL is given to James Bond by Q in the movie Tomorrow Never Dies. BMW 750iL (the stretched version, noted by the "L" in 750iL) is a four-door, as opposed to the sexier two-doored Z3 seen in GoldenEye.

But the 750iL has a combination of conservative good looks and performance that's comparable to any of its predecessors. It's protagonist vs. antagonist as we pit an E38 BMW 7 Series against a Jaguar XKR on this James Bond.
