The site was reconstructed from the Internet Archive "Way Back Machine" service. Following Phil Hawksley's (aka The Boxer Man) death six years ago, the BMBikes site was kept running by a few volunteers.

Unfortunately, although efforts were made to maintain the site, via some key positions were not filled (e.g. around banking arrangements). A potential to fund the site via voluntary donation also couldn't be sorted.

So the bottom line is that the site is now dead. The best electric bikes, DIY upgrades, honest gear reviews, and bold builds. No fluff-just real performance, tools, and tips that ride.
