The R 18 from BMW Motorrad is an icon that keeps reinventing itself. Discover the timeless cruiser that celebrates Big Boxer culture. The R18's architecture is a love letter to the 1936 BMW R5, featuring a double-cradle steel frame, a pear-shaped fuel tank, and an exposed nickel-plated driveshaft.

BMW intentionally engineered the bike with "customizable" DNA, using a removable rear frame and a simplified wiring harness to encourage builders to take a hacksaw to its heritage. BMW has updated its five Big Boxer cruisers-the R 18, R 18 Classic, R 18 Roctane, R 18 B and R 18 Transcontinental. The BMW R 18 is a cruiser motorcycle manufactured by BMW Motorrad and was officially introduced in April 2020 and launched in September 2020 in Germany.
