Bmw S38 Crank Bolt Torque
The rod cap torque spec. for the M10/M30/S14 is 55 Nm. with a note to wash and oil the bolts.
The rod cap torque spec. for the S38 is 5 Nm., then 30Nm. and finally 60* with the same note to wash and oil the bolts.

And yes, that is a torque-to-yield bolt that requires replacement. The torque spec is something like 120 lb-ft, back off a full turn. then 70- lb-ft, 60 degrees, 60 degrees, 30 degrees.
I'm not sure on the exact numbers, but it's something like that. Applicable range for tightening torques, refer to extract from company standard BMW N 600 02.0 0000M16 and M16x1.5.
