My doc saidnot to use dettoland any kind of fabric ... It's safe to use but if you are too anxious then you can use just a simple soft thin cotton cloth.

Just an opinion soz lol! I see it all too much a lit of kids in sterile homes are sick a lot more often than others. ... I've used it along with non bio fairy and fabric softener on all new baby's hand me down clothes that have been in the attic and the Moses basket insert etc.
