October 5, 2011 -DD has had several pairs over the last year (some bought used on ebay and still in great condition) and we've had nothing butgood quality shoes. ... I've had GREAT luck with Stride Rite shoes.
They just seem to last forever for my 3.5 year old. My 18 month old has extra chunky baby feet and Stride Rites are the only brand of shoes that fit. The show tongue folds back to open extra wide and the Velcro makes them easy to fasten.
I wish there were more attractive gender neutral options, most styles seem to be pink/purple or bland ... August 21, 2007 -They seem to run true to size but are a little larger than some brands of shoes -- my son went down a size when he went from Nike to Stride Rite. I buy them because they last my kids longer than some of the other styles of shoes and my son is in love with the Super Ball shoes (this is his 2nd pair).
