I just saw a beautiful E46 M3 in a dark blue that I originally thought was carbon black, but it's slightly bluer than carbon black. I thought this was a really stunning color. Any ideas what color this could be? It's Mystic Blue.

BMW discontinued Topaz after 2002 and replaced it with Mystic. I thought my 2002 Touring (see below) was Mystic when I first bought it, but a forum member suggested I look a the paint code and it was indeed Topaz. Mystic is a slightly "cooler," less saturated blue, but it's a subtle difference and can easily be swamped by the difference in the lighting of any given photo.
